Brettzies
I love how VE3d tries to make it sound like they announced GRAW3 today: VE3D link I like that website, it's a good resource, but they ALWAYS make their headlines misleading. Thankfully I didn't see any mention of Advanced Warfighter, just GR4.

Joseph_Q
> Ghost Recon 4 has been confirmed Link [Threads merged - That had already been posted about today in both the 360 & PC forums (and it's not news, see kleaneasy's post above & Kimi's post from January)] Edited April 29, 2009 by Pave Low
BS PALADIN
Good to see Ghost Recon 4 the name is confirmed. Looking like a March 2010 launch though which sucks ass. But it will be worthwhile if we get a highly polished product with editing capabilities.
BS PALADIN
At least the Advanced Warfighter tag has been dropped. Hopefully they drop the sci fi gameplay that accompanied it.

Metalfreak85
if its released in march wouldnt that give it like, a whole 3 year break from the franchise? We had better get a polished title, what are they going to have to re-hash? People would be ###### if that happened. Should definately be on new technology.... McGhost
Anyone seen this ..., GR4?? ubisoft announces 2009-10 games line-up including Ghost Recon 4 [Merged with existing thread (it's also on the news page ) ] Edited May 21, 2009 by Pave Low
Rocky
Yeh various news sites noticed the GR4 news in the latest statements from Ubi, but really this was revealed first back in January. Thanks for the link anyway.
Bota:16
Well according to Ubisoft Narrows Release Dates For Splinter Cell, Red Steel, Rest Of Year's Line-Up the release date has been narrowed down to Q4 of FY2010 (i.e. January 20100-March 2010). So probably March 31st, 2010.
ApexMods
Personally, I wouldn't mind if they pushed back the release date even further - as long as the outcome is positive!
Bota:16
That would mean UBI would actually take advice from the community.
Kingkat
I kinda like that its going to be an "early 2010" release. Gives me more time to play with a couple of games this year and then be able to see how well the game turns out. I like that its GR without the AW part......?..right? At least it is something to look foward to..........again...........and again................and again................... Hey..........is there gonna be a DEMO or what.......? ............. WytchDokta
Personally, I wouldn't mind if they pushed back the release date even further - as long as the outcome is positive! They already have pushed back the release date: i.e. January 20100
GRAWChump
I hope they give us better graphics....and personally, I'd like to be able to carry more "big guns".
belvucker
I am getting very nervous about the PC side of Ghost Recon, I really hope Ubisoft gets it right this time. It's my only hope for a tactical shooter that isn't as large scale as ArmA, I've always like the fact that the [Ghost Recon] made you feel you were part of "The Ghost". The briefings were spot on, the atmosphere was immersive, believable objectives, and truly not linear. If RSE is developing Ghost Recon 4 then we might have hope, but thats kind of speculating since it hasn't been officially announced, except for the post by Kimi. BS PALADIN
Its not spectulating as kimi is the red storm community developer and she made the announcements for GR4 on both the console and PC forums at ubisoft. 2 + 2 does equal 4 sometimes.
