Specter 0
Hi all. I just want to take this opportunity to offer you all the same advice that was offered me 2 years ago, when I first started playing GR by a memeber of the redstorm troubleshooting forum. The reason I offer this advice is because I have noticed a small surge in people trying to use UBI and having nothing but trouble. Dont use UBI ! ! Use ASE or even Gamespy or come to the game room forum here and find yourselves some games. For instance, its 10pm here local PST, and there are 1600 players hosting games on the eye, and 65 dedicated servers. Thats just on ASE folks. My point is, UBI is a POS and a pain to set up and stay in. I even quit playing Ravenshield because of that and well, the net code in RvS sucks. But anyway, Both ASE and Gamespy are free, as are finding games here at the site. And these services use almost no overhead on your machine like UBI does. Here are the links to DL these services for free: ASE - http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html Gamespy - http://www.gamespyarcade.com/ Just a couple really good alternatives that I thought would help some of you. Good Luck ! !

hero2zer0 0
GameSpy is just like UBI, u get the chat, rooms its almost the same but it has ads and alot less bugs
=SEALZ=MATRIX 4
I personally like playing by direct IP. ASE is far better than UBI or Gamespy. Try to find a few servers that you really enjoy playing on and add them to your IP list. (I hope GR2 keeps the IP list item). That way you can just in game and then join--Real simple
