i saw it last saturday.. very, very cool movie. well worth it, the third in the series is going to be very cool.. but if you havent seen the first one, rent the first one before you see Reloaded, or you'll be lost the whole movie.

From left to right, appears to be: Uzi, Thompson .45 Sub-Machine Gun, a 9MM Car-15 (maybe??) variant, MP5-K, G-36 (think so anyway..) and some type of SMG (MP5 perhaps?).. anyway, an arsenal I woulndt mind having :rocky::o=

could the CAR-15 possibly actually be a Colt Commando, which is a super-short version of the M4?

possibly, not really up to speed with all of the Armalite family versions

I thought the action was great....one gripe.......they needed about 20 more minutes just for embelishing the story they jump around to much......but that is what the matrix is all about........

He doesnt use guns as much because the machines can dodge them

i have to say it wasn't as good as the first one. Now don't get me wrong, this means it's still far better than most movies, but somehow not really on par with the first. <_<

I'm gonna need to see it a second time to really catch everything.

No, that 9mm in the movie has it's own designation. I don't think it even has "AR" in the name. The CAR-15 itself, as used in Vietnam, had an 11.5" barrel with a 5" flashider added to the end for noise suppression.

Rook, just depends on the specific model number of CAR 15. There were quite a few different models made. The series was very close to the new M4 by the last variant. It had A2 sights, 14.5" barrel (Without step-cut, of course), foward assist, etc.

Also, the that Colt is called simply the 'Colt SMG'. The G36 looks to have a AG36 'Nade launcher mounted. Looks like a fullsize MP5 at the end of the line.

Agree with Piccolo. That's a Colt SMG but it's apples and oranges with the four billion variants that have been made in carbine and sub-carbine length. With the AR15, it's all based upon configuration since you can change just about everything out in 30 seconds.

300Mag, that's one reason why I get so sick of people talking about the M4, especially in comparison discussions. It's nothing more than a short-barreled M16 with goodies attached, but they act like it's a completely different firearm
