help with igor gun editor

When i go into igor and then gun editor to make a rifle.I clicked new and made a new file for it(saved it in my own mod equip folder).Finished all of the little things and now how do i save it,becuase i will click apply everytime i do something but if i go into my equip folder its not there....anyone know

Just edit the files manually, and just remember where things go when you do it.

If you can't find your new gun, but you saved the data, it probably is saved in the 'origmiss' folder. I'd check there first.

I never use IGOR to edit gun files, it's not worth the bother - just open the file with notepad and edit it (well create your own first and then edit it), it always works and it is much easier.

dude... its really easy to fix this. IGOR is a good program and it is worth messing with but it takes too long to load. all u have to do when u boot up igor is under the file menu, goto Mods... then uncheck all of them but ur mod, and when u check ur mod, make sure u check Default. then click close and refresh. then, when u save ur guns, it will know to overwrite the old files in the right folder instead of creating new ones in the default folder which is origmiss.

note: u will have to do this each u start up IGOR in order for it to know which file to pick as default.
