Parabellum
The poor little cat was only about eight months old. He suddenly started having respiratory problems about two weeks ago, so we took him to the vet and got him treated. He was diagnosed with asthma, and the vet gave us some meds for him. He seemed okay after that, but this morning, he went into respiratory arrest at about 11:30. We rushed him to the vet, but he died before they could treat him. It was less than half an hour from the time he started having trouble breathing this morning, until he died.

Parabellum
Thanks mates. The worst part is, when we got to the vet, I told them, "My cat is dying, he needs the vet right away." They told us we had to wait, because there was someone ahead of us. So I just sat right down and opened up his cat carrier, and said "Fine, if he's going to die in your lobby, then you're going to watch." No one believed me until he started yowling and gasping loudly for breath. Then they rushed us into a room w/ a doc. By then, the cat was gone. We'll not ever be going back to that vet. P@LaD!n
Really sorry to hear the news Para. Condolences from my family to yours. My daughter lost her cat last October just before I got home and she still cries when she thinks about it, or when we find one of its toys under the couch. Deepest condolences and best wishes in your time of grief & sorrow.

Fletch
Had a couple of Siamese cats over the years they were the most friendly cats and loved to talk to you. Was very sad when they passed, sorry to hear that your friend passed that way.
