Lightspeed Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 been playing this all day - excellent game - not easy and patience required. it's free at the moment and as the game continues to develop players will be asked to subscribe to get access to more items. intention is to make it like a World of Warcraft type set up - you subscribe and play instances (ie track n kill a specific animal) as the game develops more animals will be included and more locations and more equip difference is WoW sucks and is unrealistic, point and click rubbish - this is aiming to be a tacsim version. love it so far - just like Deerhunter but way more advanced - to find a deer is not a case of running around map - I did that for the first hour. you actually have to locate deer trails, or spore (deer poo), and are given general vicinity or direction of deer - then you track and hopefully find next piece of trail - once you find 3 pieces of trail then you are well on its track and need to try and spot and then kill it. much harder then it sounds - easy to lose a trail. but top game a in terms of hunting. I know that most of you gents that played GR with me in the day, would love this, it's got THE feel of a great game. Give it a try. I've already signed up for a 3 month sub, cheap when compared to other pay to play games and I didn't have to spend $50 on the game.
