bluewolf71 Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Salutes All, Been getting back into GR1, lately. Installed GR1, IT, Dsiege, mods; standard upgrade, Heros Unleashed, and YOTM. Played for a while and fine. Started getting Crashes to Desktop, while in the middle of gameplay. Now it happens frequently? Could someone give me some good advise/solution for this? wombat50 Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 If I get a CTD while playing GR I immediately look at the ike.log. If the ike.log is of any help it will be contained in the last 4-6 lines. Ignore any references to light halo effect as that is always in there. When GR is launched again it will overwrite the current .log so that is the reason to have a look immediately. The ike.log can be of value and then again no help at all. How many mods do you usually have activated and what are they? Some player made mods don't always get along with one another. Probably a good idea to run YOTM with only DS and IT activated. The process of elimination may be used to find the offending mod/mods that are potentially causing a conflict.
