ctm 0
The MEU 31 Mod ran slow on my old computer, which was a Pentium 3. I recently bought a new Dell with a 2.3GHz Pentium 4 and it still runs slow. It saves slow (F6) and takes forever to reload (F7). I'm halfway through the campaign and almost ready to bag it because it's not much fun under these conditions. The regular programs run well as do any of the mods I've downloaded with the highest level of graphics selected under Options Menu. Any suggestions? Thanks Tom
Dark Ranger 0
Well, when you run that MOD, just reduce some of your graphic settings(i.e. shadows for characters and vehicles, and maybe map texture) for better gameplay. You can also bring up the In-Game command console by pressing the Enter key on the 10-Key portion of the keyboard. Type "toggleshowframerate" without quotes, press Enter, then Esc. It shows you the current FPS for your game. One command that might help increase FPS is to type "togglemovetrees" without quotes, in your command prompt. It stops the swaying of trees, and will hopefully give you a few more FPS depending on which map you are playing. Also be sure to terminate all open programs prior to launching GR. Hope this helps ya.
