dekela 0
Does any-one know what the actual zoom is on the steyr. I've got it at 5x but I think it's a bit high.
de_nome_lanicon 0
Standard Steyr is 1.5x, heavy barrel one (HBarT) is 6x.
Viper 0
I have also herd they use 4x scopes (depends on the unit and user I think, the AUG is used by many differant countries). with a differant reciever it can mount any scope though. CLARK
dekela 0
Thanx guys, I cut it back to 3.5x otherwise you can hit targets anywhere on the map. I think I read that the ozzy version has a weaver type mount or something for mounting different optics.
de_nome_lanicon 0
ya... if you mount the picatinny rail you can mount everything... but standard ones are 1.5x and 6x (for the hbart)... 3.5x doesn't exist at all...
dekela 0
Thanx for the input guys, looks like i'll be back at 1.5x......Cheers
Militiaman 0
On any non-sniper weapons I make it a rule of thumb to never make zoom more than a X4 in power. I also reduced accuracy to no better than 10 in the prone position for non-sniper weapons. What is the point of your sniper if your rifleman or support expert can do the same job? dekela 0
I agree with what you say about the snipers militiman, I was using 3.5x cause i think thats what the sa80 is at. Instead of limiting accuracy i tend to up the recoil. That way single shot is still fairly accurate but it's usless to "spray and pray."
