looking for patches and mods for GR

i just finished original Tom Clancy,s ghost recon 2001.

looking for more missions/mods.

downloaded patch 1.1.5 ,but not working

patch asking for original cd in cdrom.

is there any mission/mod available here, for original GR without any patch???

How are you "playing" without a CD??

i played only ,"origmiss" original in dis cd

There is only a very small handful of missions available that only require Ghost Recon. Out of those, I don`t believe I have ever played any that do not require a patched version of the game, sry.

Not too sure what your last posts means, patches are found >HERE<

For only Ghost Recon, you need to patch in order, patch 1 / patch 2 / patch 3 / patch 4.

but not workin in my game

after installin dis patch it shows an error

that /unable to open game ,insert game cd in rom .

tried to solve it wid downloding "[Thing that should not be spoken of here IAW Forum Rule 3.7] fix.exe"

but not solved

after that i downlod patch 1.2

and thax it worked

i hav now GR wid patch 1.2 workin well

but my simple question is

is there any mod/mission available widout any patch required??

or any mod/mission for GR wid patch1.2??

Go to ghostrecon.net download section for GR1/missions

and download these:

Dropzone mission

Black Wolf mission*

Last Hope

Jack Rabbit*

Needles Eye* (contains and installer)

(*) Specifically said these only require GR

I haven't tried these unpatched but all are on original GR maps and use original GR actors and kits.

If the download only contains a mission file, put it in your Mods/Orgimiss/missions folder.

Otherwise view the readme file for installation. Most are .zip files so you'll need a program to extract the files.

Probably more so look for the ones that only need GR.

Only if you can find a server where they don't use DS or IT. Rare, but possible.

cold war is interesting.

It was the mod that persuaded me to buy GR Gold ([GR], DS & IT bundle).

You could try GameRanger - there are always some Ghost Recon games going on, but you should at least have your Ghost Recon application fully updated to v1.4 (all patches are here).

And, again, please consider buying the expansion packs, as most online games require both Island Thunder and Desert Siege to be installed. By now, their price is extremely low and they are really worth every cent.

but after stalling patch1/2/3/4

they start working

but when i tried to play online

xfire server shows error

"u cant play coze DS and IT not found on yor system"

wat it means???

It means that you need both the Desert Siege and Island Thunder expansion packs for Ghost Recon in order to use those maps or to play on those servers. Both of these will be included in the "Christmas present" that was suggested in an earlier post.

While having all of the patches (i.e. v1.4) may allow you to load some/all of the maps you have downloaded, they utilize content from DS and IT and will not actually fully function (missions will probably CTD) without those two additional addons. Do yourself a favor and get a copy of GR Gold, which includes the expansion packs.
