Rocky 1,224
Here's a new Blade Runner interview that's quite interesting. If/when I get a 40" HD telly, Blade Runner will be the first Blu Ray DVD that goes on it, that'll be awesome. Wait, is Blade Runner even out on Blu Ray?
WhiteKnight77 1
I have all the versions of Blade Runner on HD DVD. I can't wait to watch them, in at least another month.
Walter 0
I can't understand why Blade Runner is so popular. The last time I watched it I was bored out of my mind. Had the same problem with the Shawshank Redemption, which I thought was just another generic prison movie. Why are there so many different versions by the way?
WhiteKnight77 1
There are 4 versions of it: US Theatrical Cut (1982) International Theatrical Cut (1982) Directors Cut (1992) Blade Runner, The Final Cut (2007) My set also includes a workprint which has alternate footage, music and voice-overs. According to the pamphelet that came with the disks, the workprint has rarely been seen.

(j/k ) You can't really argue taste in movies, but like it or not, Blade Runner is one of the most influential sci-fi movies ever. The original cut was ordered by the studio execs who didn't think the audience would get it (so they added Harrison Ford's voice over and the happy ending). The more recent versions try to rectify that. Also, the movie is till popular so there are money to be made Respectfully krise madsen
