Dvd Ripping Question

after coming across about using VLC to create a movie wallpaper...I wanted to take the two Aquarium movie scene in Finding Nemo: 1) Coral Reef and 2) an Aquarium with a shrimp swimming by.

I wanna rip just those scenes to my flash drive, so I can play those scene on work pc.

Anyone knows how to do this?

I use Ripit4me, DVDShrink, DVD Decrpter and ImageBrn

I use "No. 1 DVD ripper" to put my movies on my zune, but I've never tried to just rip a section of it. Usually I just rip the whole thing and convert it to mp4. I'm sure there's got to be a way where you can tell it where to start and stop ripping the movie at. You'll just need to know what time in the movie the scenes occur.

I used to use a tool called imtoo something, it had start and finish options, by the second.

update:

here's what I did:

After DVDShrink has analyzed and have opened the files.

1) Go to Reauthor mode

2) (what I did/experiment)I double-clicked the main title over)

3) it listed all the menu/scenes

4) I looked for my scence, which is Menu 25 (Drop-Off Virtual Aquarium)

5) Double-clicked on Menu 25 15mb

6) I clicked on "Backup!" and set my Target folder for DVD Output Files:

---256MB portable flash drive

I set my VLC to play>Repeat All.

To play movie on your Desktop as a Movie Wallpaper

I used #1 DVD Ripper. I used it to convert DVD's to Zune/mp4 format for my sony walkman MP3 player.

I put scarface, the punisher and the transformers on it. it works.

I was wondering if I can take it a step further...my bro has a copy of Blue Planet and I'm thinking of collecting various scenes from those collections.

My problem is the USB flash drive...the biggest I got is 1GB maybe 2 if I find it somewhere in my office.

I never dealt with Divx...does that compress the files even more? Our viewing monitor is maybe 17" only, so the quality is not much of a step up.

So I figure I get 4-6 scenes on a 2GB USB flash drive, would suffice the natives.

Is there a way I can DVD-->DVDShrink-->Divx to fit into a 2GB USB flash drive?
