****COLONEL**** 0
Whenever i join a server at UBI to play GR, i can be allowed to play all expert EXCEPT for SUPPORT. And the usual response i get is " Support causes lag" Change Character or get ejected. Also, i have downloaded HX4 for more than 2 weeks ..........but it seem no differences from the regular ghost recon except that it increases the difficulty level. And the names changes to something like HX-Embassy. No new weapons, no new character, no new missions, no new maps.
ZJJ 74
There is another thread that is discussing the support issue. To save on repeating what is being said look here. Hope that helps.

Zantar45 0
I have noticed support only causes major lag, when you are playing in a room through UBI. In other words, if you join a game through UBI and uses support, the chances of lag and crashes is greater. Also the person hosting has to have a semi decent connection or else lag will happen. RAM has to do with it too. You can have the greatest connection but if someones ram is low and you go full auto it sometimes lags them. I suggest trying to find a room through All Seeing Eye, direct connect or ask around for IP's. Someone correct me if I am wrong on the answers above. Now the second part of your question; No idea why it wont show the weapons. Did you go to Options/mods/ activate HX4? HX3 needs only Desert Siege I think while HX4 needs both DS&IT. HX4 has - +40 maps (a few day 2 nite and remapped spawn points) -harder difficulty settings -over 300 kits (all the soldier types combined) -new game game type for SP&MP Maybe the one you downloaded was corrupt or some files on it didnt install all the way? *Added* Ah crap as I was typing this everyone had already responded. Everyone and their high speed connection. that is. Edited May 10, 2003 by Zantar45

Pave Low 16
@****COLONEL**** You didn't download the "HX4 Hell-o-pack" instead did you ? as this is an add-on to HX4 and you wouldn't notice much new stuff then.

Specter 0
@Colonel It would also help, especially with the lag issue, if you could post your system specs for us, and your internet connection speed. Are you 56K, DSL, or Cable internet, and if DSL, what speed did you purchase? For system we need : CPU Amount of RAM VIdeo Card and how much video ram Driver Version for sound and Video Directx version Mobo chipset if possible Operating System, and also, do you have Desert Siege and Island Thunder Installed, as that will also affect how many more missions were added for you with HX4
