Drot
Hi AnthonyLunkwitz When do you think Black Foot Studios is finish with Ground Branch as a playable game and not as it look likes - a forum project.
Walter
Late 2008/early 2009 is what I've heard. GRAW(2) aren't bad games, they're not just GR.
AnthonyLunkwitz
Im expecting Q1 2009 as they are so far from what I hear independantly developing and publishing. And also cause they still not even to a alpha or beta testing stages, its still concept and mock up right now. But Im happy they got speedtree cause it will help speed the map development up and make it look more beautiful and fuller and normal FPS. EDIT: Yeah also I forgot what my used to be user name and password was so I made me a new one Been to long cause I just dont have a spirit for Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six no more. But I been back into RvS for the past year again and been more active in rvsgaming more now then ever as people finally found a way to mod weapons into RvS. As soon as Ground Branch is release, Im putting 100% to it as Im very sure it will be like the Old Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six was. BSR_Vhladd
Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades. What? GRAW2 has hand grenades, so is that a thumbs up or thumbs down Papa?

I always thought GRAW2 sucked with nades. 1 nade? Geez, [GR] gave us something like 4. I guess alot of whiners complained about having too many. not a real loadout on nades really. Nutlink
Balance>Realism in that aspect. 4 nades and everyone would be tossing them around corners. 32x4=128 possible grenades in each round, assuming no respawn. Way too many explosives.
NoQuarter
^ Imagine a world where the grenadiers (or snipers) outnumbered the Sprint & Sprayers, where you are limited to 1 magazine...to cut down on all those annoying bullets flying around the map. It does make you wonder why (particularly after all the :AW feedback) Kit Restrictions were not implemented into :AW2 to address these situations, instead of using unrealistic default loadouts. ____ GRAW2 was close..................I keep reading this and am at a loss...in what regard? Yeah, [GR] actually had 6 nades. I understand peeps not wanting that many nades flying, but in [GR] I don't remember any complaints about it. In my [GR] mod, I upped the nades and we didn't have any issues with it. Part of it I think, is that original GR's maps were on a much larger scale - size wise; and obvious chokepoints were easier to cover from longer ranges - which made carpet bombing with nades not so easy. That and what I consider this "newer" crowd in the tac sims - all they want is high kill counts without the threat of the "one shot, one kill" or the "gimp". It's a shame really, as any game without those qualities doesn't really count as a tactical game. JMO -
surag198
So are people still playing online for GRAW 2? Im tired of COD4 its not particularly tactical as GRAW is...do people still play? let me know!
kenobi obikwan
Of course man, GRAW2 is still my favourite. I played CoD4 for a time, but when so many people join in a teamdeath match game, it becomes really @#$!#$% ... it has maybe no tactics, just grenades and RPG spam ... hate that ... sometimes die without reason Hope to have more co-op and new 15men co-op, don't know wether I keep pace of the version ... The Blueberry_EBDA
There are just as many playing now if not more than on release but its not a community so no matches We still hold inter clan skrims. Come over and post and our skrim guy will st it up. And might I add. I played [GR] from the beginning. I wont go back to it. Graw 2 is a mutch better game. Heck its almost like [GR]. Sorry, I hear you guys keep pushing that old hunk of junk. Get over it. A new one is on the way and you wont be satisfied with it either. If you are still playing [GR], and that aint a bad thing, you might step into the future here. Graw 2 is great. No it aint [GR]. But neither will be the New Ghost Recon. Nade spammers unite. Go play [GR]. Edited July 16, 2008 by The Blueberry_EBDA
Forrester
Well COD4 starts to grow on people, and those I speak are thinking about giving GRAW a second life... so maybe you'll see some clans return...
The Blueberry_EBDA
Your right about that Forest. When Graw 2 came out not enouph peeps had hardware that could handle it. People are beginng to come back now as tech catches up to the game. That was Ubis fault for overdoing it in the beginning. Yes they dont have 4 nades. Thank God. And yes its limited in the numbe of players that can play at one time. But that makes it cozzy. COD4 is a great game and fun to play. At least its not hacked to death yet like the old one. I say come fight like a man. Bring your weapon and put up. LOLOL. Honest play with a honest amount of lives.
