Stalker_Zero 0
So what do I do to adjust the dvs1 rets so I can see the reticule pips?? Especially the green cmore sight. What should I do to adjust the reticule in photoshop so it doesn't negate the reticule pips.
de_nome_lanicon 0
<ReticulePipBottom>0</ReticulePipBottom> In DVS1 rets... just put 2 or 3 in spite of that 0 <ReticulePipBottom>2 or 3</ReticulePipBottom> <- What is this? Or what is supposed to be?
Avey 0
<- What is this? Or what is supposed to be? its a smilie for people who are about to embark on a secret mission
l-li†m/-\n 0
Moderator Edit: Comment Deleted - Lets keep this on topic Hitman the US army had seals (the animal) and dolphins helping us find mines in the water before ships would pass.
Piccolo 0
Um, that would be the US Navy, Hitman. The ARMY is the ARMY for a reason, they generally stay on land, and let the Marines and Navy handle amphibious operations/assualts. Also, besides seals and dolphins, sealions have also been used for such tasks.
EricJ 0
Um, The Army does have ships. Right now I believe their testing them rather than in service. And you may want to get a hold of the April 2003 edition of Soldiers Magazine, as it has an article on it. And as well as Engineers for their bridging units. Stalker_Zero 0
I just got a chance to look at it. The reticule pipbottom for that DVS1 ret and the others probably...........is already a "3". What should I do now?? Make it a 0 ??
DVS1 0
Hey fellas Just caught up with this thread. Just to point out a little somethin to y'all that may help. When I made these rets I intentionally removed the rets for realisim for myself, sorry didnt think about putting them back in, I just find them annoying. In the reticle.rsb the reticle pip was painted over so it wouldnt show in game. I can see if I can put together a blank section for anyone to add to the rets themselves to have the reticle pips back in the game? That may not be the answer to the initial question but something I thought you guys should know. I'll get to work on that blank section with a small readme file for y'all. de_nome_lanicon 0
Ya... great work DVS1... Stalker... just open rets in photoshop and paint white the right half of the ret... keep 3 as pip bottom...
Stalker_Zero 0
Ok. But explain that exactly? I mean what channel? Alpha? RGB?? And where exactly do I paint white? And thank dvs1. I understand your viewpoint. However, painting the pips over doesn't negate their need. The guns will still be off target in combat when you are moving around.
de_nome_lanicon 0
select the alpha channel, select the right half and "Fill" it with white...

Stalker_Zero 0
I think it would be better if you try yourself. I can't figure it out. DVS1 ?? I think you better try to come up with something if you don't mind. I would really appreciate it. de nome lanicon? DVS1's reticules are on this site. Look in equipment download section i think. DVS1 reticules version 2 I believe is what he called them. And try to make sure the reticule looks like it is supposed to. Some of the channels are off for a couple of them. I think. Thanks alot everyone!!
