usthomsen 0 Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 I have installed the game and the patches but when i install patch 1,3 the game wount start. I only get a litle white square in the middle of the screen and then a black screen with a big timeglass. After 2-3 seconds the screen returns to the destop and nothing happens. No error report no nothing. I can install all the patches and the game runs fine but as soon 1,3 is installed the game crashes. I have also tried to install 1,3 without the previous patches bt the same thing happens. P5K3 deluxe mobo 2048 DDR3@1333mhz, Core2 duo E6600@3,3ghz, 8800GTX ect. Tinker 1 Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Do you have Ghost Recon / Desert Siege / Island Thunder? All 3 discs, or a DVD all in 1? Some of the Gold Editions are already patched to 1.4. Otherwise, if you have Island Thunder, you do not need 1.3, is already included in Island Thunder. Just 1.4 is only patch needed. *Edit* Look in your Ghost Recon Folder for a text file called: IKE.log It will show what version the game is at like this: ***** User's system configuration ***** CPU: GenuineIntel 3000 MHz Pentium 4 RAM: 2047 MB O/S: Microsoft Windows 2000 5.1 Service Pack 2 build 2600 Ghost Recon (RELEASE) version = 1.4.0.0(0) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
