something 0
This key does not seem to work for me (Numpad Enter). I come from the land of Unreal Tournament and the console key allows me to many items as an admin for a server. Why does the key not do anything and would it do what I am hoping for such as kick while playing a game? GR 1.4 Cheers!
Stinger 0
I misunderstood, nevermind. Read post below. Edited May 8, 2003 by Stinger
Super-Bob 0
The console is disabled in MP. You can kick from the game lobby.
ARDelta 0
Between games click on "Edit Server". After you get into the edit server screen, hit the Escape key. That should bring up four options, Continue, Options, EJECT, and Quit. I don't know if you can eject someone while the game is in progress.
something 0
Thats exactly what I wanted to do. eg, in Unreal you would bring up the console and simply type Kick Player1 and poof they are gone. Now I read how to unban somebody but how do you even ban to begin with? It is pointless when you have to sit there and kick every end of the game....it's the end of the game so if you are playing for 30 mins and you have some ass being and ass then you would think you could do it during the game. I still want to know how to bring this console up if anybody knows. Thanks dudes
WhiteKnight77 1
The SP console is broght up with the number pad enter key. For MP, you will see kick player in the middle of the 3 buttons on the right on the MP server screen (prior to starting a round.) Once you click that button, you can select the player you want to kick and ban and then just press the Ban button. The selected player will then disappear from the server and will not be let back in unless the player changes IP addy. The unfortunate part, we aren't able to do this in game once we have left the server/player setup screen. In a way, this is good as it keeps someone from being a ###### and kicking people for a supposed slight, but can be bad as a cheater can't be dealt with until the round is over. WhiteKnight77 1
The number pad key will only bring up the console in SP and not MP.

WhiteKnight77 1
Your welcome. I prolly should have specified what the initials meant, but after playing MP games since I practically first got a PC (3 years ago,) I may forget that not everyone knows the lingo.
