Not to belabor the point, but have you double checked the ability to host a game of Castle Wolfenstein, Soldier of Fortune 2, or Red Alert 2 over the LAN since you found out you can't host GR?

You did click on "Create Game" on the host, right?

If you are running XP on all your LAN PC's, make sure the XP firewall is disabled. It will block GR, even on a LAN.

IF you have a 3rd party firewall, either disable it, or configure it so that the GR Ports, 2346-2348 are open.

If you have a router setup, even on a LAN, you still have to open up the GR ports, or take the easy way and DMZ the server. Some people dont recommend this, but it is the easiest and most maintenace free way to open the server, especially if you have short DHCP leases, meaning that your ip addresses change every time you reboot, or even every so many hours.

For the firewall in XP:

In Control Panel, double-click Networking and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

Right-click the connection on which you would like to disable ICF (interent connection firewall), and then click Properties.

On the Advanced tab, click the box to clear the option to Protect my computer or network.

I don't know about the Agnitum Fire Wall. If it's just software, can you shut it down?
