doubletap
I've seen lots of new uniforms but no actual models. The default soldiers are all built like Mick Jagger and Prince, they look like 125lb fragile little weaklings. Big
U see lots of "skins" and not new models cause BIS didn't release the tools long time ago. So people got stuck with just editing the uniforms, anyways things are changing but as you can imagine it takes time. I suggest you to visit Armaholic.com for all ArmA info, scripting help, downloads, ...

NoQuarter
If you follow Bigs' link and hit the downloads section you'll find that the BI_Editing_ToolsRC3, as well as official samples, has been released. Oxygen 2 (modeling), Visitor 3 (map editing). Or http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Categor..._Official_Tools
doubletap
Thanks NoQuarter! I have no 3D modeling experience but I'll definately give Oxygen 2 a try. It will probably be months before I actually create something usable but maybe I can apply what I learn to Arma 2 as well, so it should be time well spent.
