XbozGameZone has announced a co-op tournie for GRAW 2. Here's the details:

With the recent release of the GRAW 2 co-op collection seeing a return of some of the ‘old skool’ maps such as Caves and Battlefield to name a few we thought what better time to challenge you all to some good old Ghost Recon Team Work?

Important Note: This competition WILL utilise the GRAW 2 premium DLC Co-op collection which is available from the marketplace at 800 points. If you or your team mates do not have this content you will be unable to participate.

Date: Monday 3rd March 2008

Time: 8pm (first team plays from 8pm)

Team: Your team may consist of no more than 4 players; you may if you wish enter a 2 or 3 player team.

Type: Mission details to be announced on entry to the server

Map: To be announced on entry to the server

Host: XGZ*

How to Enter:

To register your team to play simply make one post ONLY in ‘This Thread’

The team captain ONLY must send a friends request to the host gamertag XGZ*

It is your responsibility to send the host friends request, failure to do so will result in you not participating.

The team captain should ensure that both he/she and their team are online and ready to play in GRAW from no later than 8pm.

The server host will invite the team captain in; the team captain may then invite the remaining team members into the server.

You only get one chance - Each team will be given the opportunity to play through the selected mission once and once only.

In the event of any issues with the first map run and within the first 2 minutes of the map loading the host may restart the room HOWEVER this will only be done once. If on the second load, the player/s still drops the game will commence regardless.

Scoring:

Scores will be based on the in game scoring.

At the end of the night the team with the highest score wins.

Tie Breaker?

In the unlikely event of a tie breaker situation the tied teams will be invited to complete an elimination co-op game. The team with the most enemy kills wins. (Previous mission score is not taken into account)

Team Captain Note:

We would advise teams and their captains to select carefully who plays on their teams. Players should play on one team ONLY. Be advised their will be multiple servers running to host the missions so submitting yourself to play on more than one team could result in a nasty collision of timing leaving your team a player/s short. In the event a player has ‘double booked’ their self they will find they are removed completely.

This is also why it is essential the team captain ONLY sends the host friends request.

*Please note dependant on the total number of teams entered we may use the host account through the ‘shared friends list’ option. As such you may receive an invite from a gamertag other than XGZ. In the event of such a situation we will endeavour to provide this information in advance.
