It is that I am trying it and in the editor if they me appear, but once created the map and already in the game, they are not seen and I cannot use them. GRIN_Wolfsong Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 C4 is carried by all soldiers and units only have to be activated through the mission script to be "plantable", unlike in GRAW1 where a C4 units had to be placed in the editor. Since you will see my idea it is that the players, to accede to a zone of the map (already it is HH or Siege), have to use a load of C4, way be made and accede to the zone. I do not want that it is with grenades or with GL. Because of it i was asking the way of doing it for these modes of game But I have understood you badly, it is necessary to add something to the file mission.xml? GRIN_Wolfsong Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 All game mechanics for a game mode are done it the XML. The editor is only for setting up the maps. Not to create the mission flow. So you would have to place the object you want the players to plant on, in the editor. Then in the XML you would have to activate it as a plantable object. Then you have to add code to detect when the object has been destroyed (can't remember if you can detect that it's just planted right now) and use that to trigger the objective update and activate the zone you want as the "goal".
