Ox Pson
If they offer these for free in one month, I will be P*SS*D OFF! It cost to be on top
Alderei
If they offer these for free in one month, I will be P*SS*D OFF! You can't be angry about that. You spends your monies, you takes your chances. If you want them free, I guarantee you it will be free somewhere at sometime and some people will get them without paying. You could be one of them, or you could play these mission this month. Your call. I didn't get an Xbox until right before GRAW 2 came out. I of course owned GRAW 1 and wanted the extra content. Over the summer, a friend of mine slid an OXM demo disk across a table to me in a smoky room, and voila, I had the Ch. 2 content for free. But I want these maps now, I'll pay my $5-$10, and I'll happily be on my way to saving the world (and more importantly American Interests in the region) from Extremist Latinos. Alderei
How many people does it take to change a light bulb at UBI? None they all work in the dark! That's all wrong. The real question is, how many people at Ubi does it take to prevent RSE from changing their own lightbulb. From the looks of things, one guy with a computer and itchy trigger finger. BS PALADIN
HAs anyone downloaded them yet. Want to know if the siege bases are in better locations. Putting bases in corner killed GRAW/GRAW 2 siege. Siege bases need to be in open locations so that they are flankable. If they are stuck in corners again then i wont be recommending these maps to anyone.
OlyStubbie
See you on tonight amigos! It's been a bit of a wait, I know but it'll be worth it. Be nice to Kimi too!! I can't go into the details on why this pack took so long to release but suffice it to say that we worked very hard on the maps and hope you like them. thanks, -pat

methz68
Guys you cut off access to the tower on the airport, Why? I wanted to get up there, ok i'd stick out like a sore thumb but would have been nice to have that option. Seems like lots of areas you can not get access to, will take time to know where I can and cant go but I do like the maps.
Combat2600
Well I've been reading posts about the new maps and checking my Xbox360 all day long. Well there finaly here. I'm so excited weh......I mean......almost wet myself. So far I played through the caves in Firefight mode. It was....AWSOME!!!!! I have a bad wireless internet connection and always get booted when I try to play online. So I usually just play offline co-op at my friends house. I'm going to try and hold off playing the other maps till I get to his house. It's been a long time comming but worth it. Thanks Ubi and thanks Kimi for building this up. Ok I'm off. OlyStubbie
Guys you cut off access to the tower on the airport, Why? Sight lines typically. With all the graphics updates we need to limit certain massive sight lines. There's also a tactical side on having areas that would be overly advantageous for snipers. Yep I can understand that, it is quite high. but view distance it cut down I am sure by the foggy effects. Did you alter weapon sounds, dunno if its me but I am sure some sound different, either that or i am mistaken?

There are environmental zones for sound effects that process sounds differently when you're in them, like occlusion and other effects. That would most likely be the case here. thanks, -pat
Magnum50
Thx for the news...it's appreciated. Just wondering, anyone know if there is a higher resolution, better video for the one above (in the first post), that one doesn't do the pack justice. thx in advance

Cons72
First, the redone maps are fantastic. Great job on those. Those are the types of maps we had been missing. For Paladin, Yes, the siege bases are all for the most part at one end of the map, though I have not tried blind siege yet. However, the redone maps are much more open and you need to fully cover at least three directions and most allow for the opportunity of a small space to come in on the backside if the enemy loses a flank. 5timechamp
the maps are mixed bag for me... some have been enhanced too much and the effect has been negative.. Castle map is the worst in this regard...the additional building and area within the compound itself are an eyesore with all the bits of castle scattered around the 2 new original maps are decent, I kept thinking of the university map on Vegas for one and the rooftop map for some reason feels out of place even for graw. Railroad, Caves and specially Battlefield are real triumphs in the way the upgrade didnt go overboard. The classic map design holds up incredibly well. the 3 island thunder maps transitioned ok, though having played the original recently the lack of interiors really hurts the maps. Thanks. Played the maps myself and i agree the maps are fantastic. But the siege bases stuck in the corners again is abysmal. I really dont get it. You have been told time and time again that siege players dont like the current siege. Maybe you cant give us Gr2 siege back but ###### at least move the bases a little into the open. You give us great maps then fk it up by sticking the bases in the corners AGAIN. And please do something about the camos. Even the woodland and canadian camos look 20 shades lighter than the environment ( especially on Caves and Railroad Bridge ). All in all 95% great work fked up by the placing of 4 flares. Really really disappointed. Edited January 30, 2008 by BS PALADIN
