Fascinating Documentary.

Not sure if this'll playback for anyone outside of the UK, but you might find it by other means if you search.

Louis Theroux: Behind Bars

Duration: 60 minutes

Louis travels to California to spend two weeks in the notorious San Quentin State Prison. Built in 1852, San Quentin is dangerously overcrowded.

Oo nice one i missed this the other night and it wasnt on virgin catch up when i looked. I'll watch this tomorrow thanks Rocky :)

Ha, good job you mentioned that, allow me to ensure you don't miss the end of this show.

WATCH IT ON BBC IPLAYER.

I taped in on TVDrive and it missed 5 minutes off the end!

I found it on Virgin Replay, and it missed 10 MINUTES off the end!!

So glad I could stream it off the iplayer site! IN FULL :)

Enjoy.

LOL dont you just love modern technology. I've had similar problems with other BBC shows in the past, i assume they record from the time the show is scheduled rather than when it starts although you would think in this day and age they could work out a way around that

I'll make sure my friend sees this as well, she was only saying yesterday she had missed it :)

I don't know if you read the Virigin newsgroups, but I had a bit of a rant in there about it. Apparantly BBC2 programmes were running 10 mins late that night hence the end missing off the programmes.

Apparantly Sky's system is dynamic and adjusts recording times to allow for late running shows as and when required. Virgin do not have that technology :wall:

Thats madness....We've been with Telewest now Virgin for years now, way back before we first went on the broadband in the days when most of the world was only just learning what dial up was lol. We thought of changing a few times and more recently were very serious about it. We did all the price comparisons and worked out Sky would be marginally cheaper but had a few bonus features.... of course when i placed the call to get Virgin disconnected they suddenly found they were able to discount our monthly bill by a large sum so we stayed put. We knew they might do that but didnt want to make the call and risk it until we were 100% ready to move. Either way we are financially better off for it by quite a bit but there are some aspects they seem to be falling way behind on mainly the on demand services IMO

Anyway im going OT. I've passed the link on to my friend and i'll be watching this later so thanks again :)
