Stalker_Zero 0
Hey. I am trying to make about 150 kit files and i am stuck on number 5. I tried calling them what i wanted and ended name with "-01" and so forth. But the game didnt recognized them. I am starting off with riflemen kits. I am also running DS and IT including the new mod. I then tried to name them "rifleman-01" and so forth. That seemed to work at first but it stopped at "05". I then tried a trick by which i started off numbering them as "rifleman-26" and so on. Well, i was able to go beyond 5 kits but then it crashed at the sixth one....."rifleman-31". What am I doing wrong?????
Jack57 0
The last way you tried is fine - it must be looking for a file it can't find. No joy from your Ike.log? It should tell you what it is. The only way I know of to get it to use only your kits starting from -01 is to mod the kit path in the actor files to point to your mods kit directories. Cheers, Jack ps: did you get my last mail re the community expansion?

Incubus 0
I ran into this problem when I did a quickie mod with all the guns from GR and SOAF. I kept getting crashes too, until something caught my eye... I don't use IGOR for setting up .gun and kit files, so I can see everything withing the file. I noticed that if the line linking to the qob file was not exactly as the file was saved, it crashed. e.i. CAPITOLS count. If say, you are using the model m16.qob and you accidentily type in M16.QOB, it will crash. I hope thats the only problem you are having, as it is easy to fix. Good luck. Stalker_Zero 0
I think I solved it. There were alot of guys working on the mod and some extra kit files with same names was in one of the folders. They must have been conflicting with the kit folder i was working on. Heh heh. Now back to work. a hundred or so more kits to go.
JTF-2 0
ya, the reason they weren't working is 'cause there could have been other kit files with same name. GR is really picky that way...
