hairhen
My GRAW game crashed and it prompted "graw.exe application error" when I picked the option button in the main menu. This happens even I have applied the game patch version 1.35. However, I can start a new campaign and play the first level. Similar problem happens if I play GRAW2. I have updated all drivers and I have no idea what's going wrong. Here is my configurations: CPU: E6750 @2.66G Ram 2 x 1G DDR2-800 Video card: Inno3D 8800GT 512mb Motherboard: Asus P5K-E Sound: onboard Soundmax OS: Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit) Display driver: 169.25 I hope someone can help me to tackle my technical problem. Thanks a lot. hairhen
NoQuarter
Odd. The Campaign button obviously works, how about the Multiplayer, Profile, Credits, and Quit buttons? This might be a Vista UAC issue, check the properties of both programs and (if available) make sure the Compatability/Priviledge Levels are checked to "Run this program as an administrator". 2 similar programs with the same error usually equals a OS user setting that needs changing. Hope you sort it out.
hairhen
That's really odd! Other buttons in the main menu are functional. I could see the credit, add my own name to the profile and quit to the desktop. I have tried the suggested method but the problem still sticks with me. The UAC was disabled and it did not help at all.
