First of all. my system specs.

Core 2 Duo 6300 1.86 x 1.86

1Gb Ram

GeForce 8500 GT 512mb

Directx 10

Latest version of directx, audio and video drivers.

Here´s what happens...

I start the game and i can play for like 5 min and then the game crashes. My monitor shuts off and i have to restart my system.

I read dozens of forums lookin for answers, but found nothing.

Dunno what to do. I really love this game but cant play it. if someone could help me i'd appreciate it.

Does the monitor "shut off" or just go into stand-by or power-saving?

Have you attempted to change (lower) your resolution/refresh rate, or the in-game graphics settings, to check if the GPU is being pushed too far?

Are your MS Event Viewer (Application Error/Hang) or GR:AW crashlogs appended when this occurs? If so, post.

You listed DX10 in your specs so I'll assume you're using Vista; coupled with your limited system RAM and :AW = a reportedly less than stable combination, even after all the games patches and the newer ForceWare drivers.

Hi. I rolled back my system to XP. Just finsish all the updates and stuff...

So now my specs are.

Windows XP SP 2 Fully Updated

Core 2 duo 6300 1.86 x 1.86

1 Gb RAM

GeForce 8500 GT 512 Mb

Directx 9.0 c

I´m still gettin the same crash, only now im not playing in full screen mode, so when my game crashes, I can go ctrl alt del and shut it off before my monitor goes black...

Plus, I´m havin the mouse wheel problem also. That never happened before.

I´m losing my mind here.

Answering ur questions:

My monitor goes black and the little green led turns to orange and starts blinking. I can shut it off and on again and still gets no signal.

I changed my ingame resolution to minimal, but I dont know how i change the refresh rate in the game.

Please help me.

For your mousewheel (#2) problem try switching back and forth between your user and the default control binding profiles...sometimes that's all it takes. Make sure that you are not using any tsr MouseWare utilities or Sticky keys.

Have you had any similar problems with the signal between the GPU and monitor with any other programs?

Did your computer come equipped with that GPU, or did you install it? How big is the chassis?

What kind of temps (CPU/GPU) are you seeing with your system?

After Trying it all. I reinstalled GRAW and the mouse worked.

About the crashing. I believe it had something to do with my antivirus program (Norton Internet Security)

I disabled everything from my system startup, so i have to reboot my system with no anti virus loaded to be able to play.

I was also playing in window mode (still do) so when the game crashes, i can go ctrl+alt+del and close it. Now i´m playing as good as window mode go... =/

thanks for the help
