Papa6
Since GRAW3 has been tasked to RSE, can we get a thread for this? or is it GR3, GR2. well, you get my hint. so we can start talking about it? Thanks, Papa6(Chris)
EasyCo
I might be a little slow but I'm pretty sure you just started a thread about it. Congrats...
ROCO*AFZ*
I might be a little slow but I'm pretty sure you just started a thread about it. Congrats... LMAO! Are you 100% sure RSE will do the next? Until then i doubt we will see a topic on it.

Thanks, Papa6(Chris) I haven't even seen any sort of confirmation that GRAW 3 is in the works, much less by RSE. At this point though, I would rather a different dev group handle it instead of RSE. RSE is nothing like it used to be. Most of the guys have moved on, and the current crop works on mainly consoles. Not to mention they did the last 2 Rainbow Six games (Lockdown and Vegas) and we all know how [sarcasm]awesome[/sarcasm] those games were. Hammer
But if there is a "3" be it A Graw or A GR name! it will be a concel game with a port to PC
Rocky
I'll open a new GR forum when Ubi makes the announcement.

Papa6
The article states, that it will have a new engine(no more diesel ), new storyline etc. and it will be the last in the Mexican desert trilogy. If things bode well, albeit my lack of love for UBISOFT, hopefully the game will run better on less than stellar PC's. My plate is empty right now but, I'm starving. Added: Whoa!, the article says that there were two different teams who did SP and MP mode(GRAW2). a little SNAFU anyone? does the left hand know what the right one is doing? Question: I wonder if they will truly integrate the three titles. each have the same engine, same maps and have each game connect over the internet so GRAW3 players can host Vegas and splinter cell players in one game. that could get interesting Edited December 15, 2007 by Papa6
Metal_Jacket
New engine, new storyline, what about a new attitude by the producers. What guarantee do we have that thing are going to change for the better!! Or is it just a case of “trust meâ€.

The article is clearly talking about the Xbox 360 versions, since it's an Xbox magazine. Two teams worked on that game.
Papa6
we'll all buy GRAW3 I know it. I know myself too well. I say I won't,, but if there's a chance this change of engine etc works out, it might be worth it. Anyone who says they won't buy GRAW3.. RAbbi_74
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! What, is the next GR/SC/R6 title gonna try to compete with StarCraft2? Any why doesn't any of this surprise me? Hey, at least we won't have to worry about moving to an over-the-shoulder view any more. It'll all be overhead instead! Today's GRnet front page was just too much. Integrating all three story lines any more than has already been done is just tasteless and amateur, not to mention downright rude. Kinda like me. And I don't market well... Stick a fork in Mr. Clancy, sirs. He's done...

[JTF-3]Iceman
I don't trust UbiSoft with much. They're great for Console gaming but nothing for the tactical brothers and sisters in our midst. PS: I didn't think Vegas was that bad, a little far-fetched in the story department, but the gameplay is pretty good for an Ubisoft game, it could have been a lot more tactical but with a port comes consequences. GRIN_Wolfsong
By reading that article I have to say it reviles nothing about a PC version at all. It's all about the console version as they talk about how the SP and MP versions where developed by two different studios (RSE and UBI) and used different systems for MP and SP... PONDLIFE
Still think that GRiN are going to be kept on board by UBI to do Graw3, I can't see why they would change Developer for the PC version... Maybe we'll be getting the dreaded port of the console version just to keep things simpler and cheaper.
Papa6
Sure do wish that Tom Clancy hadn't sold the franchise name. I'm kinda unsure now. some people have made some VERY valid points of view. Some people have been burned enough.

mwgfghost
I dunno though. That paintball mask Mitchell has on in that pic is pretty nifty. Edited December 16, 2007 by mwgfghost

Maybe we'll be getting the dreaded port of the console version just to keep things simpler and cheaper. I could be wrong about this, but I'm not. Didn't MS make the promise with Vista that PC<=>Console ports, especially with Xbox360, would be a lot easier? You'll notice that the same developer has been on board the whole time for the console versions. But it doesn't matter. Any future appearances of CPT Mitchell and his cyberwarriors will be overhead. You'll have to mine tacos and burritos to buy an upgrade from Mexican Rebel to 'Ghost', and get the anime-wannabe paintball mask for the former-male-cheerleader-turned-green-beret. Is it that obvious yet? I HATE UBISOFT IN THE FACE!
mwgfghost
He doesn't just hate Ubisoft. He hates em in the face. I'm glad I'm not on Rabbi's bad side cause I don't even wanna begin to imagine what it's like getting hated in the face. LOL Sorry man but that was too rich. I really doubt Ubidouche would make GR an RTS. I think what it's saying is Endwar's gonna be RTS and might include Ghosts and R6 and Splinter Cell. If they made GR an RTS, I'd be one of the first people to actually die of laughter. Then I'd rise from the dead and hate Ubisoft right in the face.
