Rocky Posted December 6, 2007 Share Posted December 6, 2007 So maybe you thought the recent Company of Heroes patch was a mess when they had to recall the latest patch, leaving many gamers to reinstall their game and lose game save files. Nah, that's kids play. Anyone know what this little line does? Delete file: \boot.ini Yeh, it means you might have to reinstall your complete OS, depending on what you do next. This is no new virus though, it happens when Eve Online installs the latest Trinity patch! Apparently someone forgot to direct the patch to the game folder... DOH!!! Everytime I conclude the same, great looking game, requiring long term dedicated gameplay for reward. If I had the time, like if I was retired and had no kids here, I would without a doubt sign up and pay the monthly fee to play that game. Let me know what you think after playing it. I checked the "market" to see what things I can buy for my ship and even that is complicated since I have no idea what I should buy and so on. It's pretty fun though but it requires a lot of time.
