MarkVanDamme
Bit confusing so it is. Has anyone here got any experience with it? I just want to make a transparent background to an image, can anyone help?

firefly2442
Hmm, not sure. I've heard of it. Is it any good? Just checked out their site, looks pretty cool. Are you running it on windows?
Rocky
LMAO, didn't you have this problem months ago Mark? comp.graphics.apps.gimp Ask in there.
RooK
I reckon GIMP is one of the best linux graphics utilities you can get and to boot, it's free! The Windows version on the other hand is pretty shabby with bugs here and there. I used it for a while, but it can't compare to a nice Windows graphics app, i.e. Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Corel Photopaint.
Rocky
And on a side note Mark - go look at the letters page of Practical Internet magazine this month (issue 80). Guess who just won Ulead's PhotoImpact 8 for letter of the month!
MarkVanDamme
Will try, but if I can't...... what did you write?
