Problem Starting the game for the first time

Ok, it took about 9 hours to install this game and then, i pressed play.

The screen went black. About a minute later, this came up:

"Crash in application version: grpcrc1.02

StretchRect() failed in D3DBackBufferCopyTexture.

The method call is invalid (probably due to invalid parameters)."

I have no clue what this meens but after looking through these forums it looks like there are tons of smart people here. Can any of you pleese help me?

Please post your system specs, in particular the full details of your graphics card.
