Bing0011
Hello, I've been playing GRAW on my PC (running 32-bit Vista Ultimate) for a while now without any problems. Just recently though, when I try to start it up, I double-click on the icon on my desktop, my screen goes black (like it does when loading the game) and I get the following error: Crash in application version: grpcrc1.35 Error in archive settings\servers\graw_server_deathmatch.xml SCRIPT STACK data\lib\managers\profilemanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\profilemanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\profilemanager.dsf(0) data\menu\menu.dsf(0) [Note: the 3 identical lines are intentional.] You can also see a screen-shot here: http://tinyurl.com/3buuv8 My PC specs are: Intel Core 2 Duo: E6700 4 GB of Memory Asus p5K motherboard w/ built-in WiFi 3x Samsung 500GB Hard drives GeForce 8800GTS (320MB) Any idea how to fix this? Please help! Thanks -- Bing

Colin
Has the system had any updates software or hardware since it was ok.?? this would include windows. You could delete your profile and start again in the game it does sort out problems sometimes.
Bing0011
Has the system had any updates software or hardware since it was ok.?? this would include windows. You could delete your profile and start again in the game it does sort out problems sometimes. The only updates I've done are those automatic system updates Windows installs upon shut-down. I haven't made any hardware changes since the problem occurred (the last change I made was replacing my SATA cables connecting my hard drive to my motherboard, which shouldn't effect any software). If it was one of the Windows updates I have no clue which, or if a system restore would undo it. I've tried Googling about this problem, but I can't find any other reports of it, which make me think it's not something as common as a system update. Oh, and I have completely uninstalled (including the profiles & saves) and reinstalled the game twice, but I still get the same error, both when I leave it at the install version (1.02) and when I use the upgrade patch (1.35). The only difference is it says "Crash in application version: grpcrc1.35" or "Crash in application version: grpcrc1.02" according to which version I'm running.
