I just left them sitting around while waiting for my other parts, but I couldn't take it anymore, so I went ahead and hooked them up. I just have to say....WOW. I went with the Altec Lansing 621 set -- they fit my needs, since I primarily was interested in sound quality for music purposes. I also didn't care about surround sound. Quite impressive. Massive subwoofer. 200 watts of total power. I can't wait to hear them with my sound card in the new computer. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

BTW, even with my really old, tired sound card in this machine it sounds great! Just for you guys, I'm testing them right now.
