bigcat75
What camo set is the one seen in this movie? You know, the light colored desert camo? I''m pretty sure I tried all the default ones and none look like that..... Edited October 5, 2007 by bigcat75
WytchDokta
It's the Crye Multicam that's in GRAW1. Pretty good observation on my part considering I don't even have (or endorse) GRAW 1 or GRAW2.

SnowFella
It's the GRAW main character though Most likely the reason why it doesn't fully look like the GRAW camo is the overbright lighting used during rendering, plus possibly the lack of GRAW's character normalmap. Remains
Well can anyone convert that skin for GRAW 2 or make one like it please?
Brettzies
As others have said, the camo pattern is from Graw1. I was just too lazy to update for Graw2. : ) I guess that would have been less confusing. However, in order to get the desired look, I actually did quite a bit of comping. Below are the five main layers with the stright render at the top, followed by the tweaks, then various layers, and final comp at the bottom. You can go as far as you like making layers for things like the glasses and monicle, but I only really seperated the gun and background. The game does something similar though on a global scale, mainly with the lighting and post effect. If you really wanted this pattern, you could download the Graw1 demo and extract it with Nemo's debundler, then make a simple mod to replace the Ghosts' camo. Not sure how seemless it would be, however.
bigcat75
thanks for the info Bret. What I was after was mainly a more desert camo than the default. After starting this thread I discovered the additional camos within the game and have since started using the desert one (can't recall the name). It looks good enough to make me happy. Now if I could just replace the starship trooper helmets with some #### boonie hats I would be thrilled. GRIN_Wolfsong
As it uses the pattern from GRAW1, which is in GRAW2 as a mask, I guess all that is needed is to assign that camo to the player team characters and add your own color values in the XML file. Check the modding tutorial on more info on how the camos are specified in the character XML files, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Tri_Tard
you could just replace the Ghosts camo with the multi-cam in the ghoststemplates.xml. it looks really similar to the one from GRAW1
