|ES|Phoenix
Just a quicky ... Is there anyway to determine what is a console ban and what is actually a ban by the AC software ?? If there is no way to distinguish between the 2 then that could be difficult to offer players the chance to come and appeal a ban !!
ROCO*AFZ*
The AC software i do believe only kicks... You can only ban via the console as far as i know.

Chrisp
well... considering that ppl getting kicked for "altered game files" rejoins and play on, I would say its confirmed. Had it banned, I dont even dare speculate how many frustrated players would be writing in forum about it, or if anyone would be able to join a server today... FI_FlimFlam
It's a much safer system to just kick rather than ban given the current state of the AC. By current state, I mean not only the "false positive" AGF's, but also with the fact that there is very little logging, no admin configurable settings, etc. Without either, or the ability to define what violations should be equate to bans it's the best policy and the safest for players in general. As it stands, I wouldn't trust the AC to automatically create bans because most of the players here on the forums would be on some server's ban list if that were the case. And that is just from the "false positive" AGF's.
