Lightspeed Posted September 29, 2007 Share Posted September 29, 2007 HEY CANGA - ive decided to pack up the custom maps i put together with all the game types - about 6 or 8 maps total - so anyone can run them on any server. random team deathmatch total random respawns siege hamburger hill csar death match would i be able to use your csar gametype for it? in this way - the main servers carrying the majority of players can add a small download with everything they could ever want on the newest and biggest maps. Hey Canga if I may make a suggestion...on your overhead map you have a lot of extra room. ..maybe you can add the point system to the side of the overhead map!! Scoring: The team that locates the VIP (CSAR team) earns 1 point. If the VIP is safely extracted, the CSAR team earns 1 point. If the VIP dies, the opposing team earns 2 points. If the CSAR team is safely extracted after the VIP, the CSAR team earns 1 point. If the CSAR team extracts after the VIP has been killed, the CSAR team earns 1 point. If the CSAR team extracts before the VIP, the VIP is considered abandoned, and the opposing team earns 2 points, which will guarantee a win. If the CSAR team is killed, the opposing teams earns 1 point. No points are awarded for individual kills. Due to this scoring system, the team that did not locate the VIP can still win. When you add the maps to your rotation, just be sure to add "csar_" in front of the map name. For example, "the_long_walk_csar" would be "csar_the_long_walk_csar".
