gorgoyle
It would make more sense to invest time into details and complexity of object, if there is an easy way to reuse and share these objects and other work and stuff. If that exist, it would nice to build a DataBase of Objects and the others, i think. Some will like, other will dislike this idea --- even it's work or not! Folk who like this idea be asked: Why should not work this or better how could this work?
deleyt
This idea has been suggested many times back when GR was hot. It never got off the ground. I personally feel that it doesn't contribute to the excitement of a game, simply because I don't like looking at the same buildings over and over, only arranged in a different way. gorgoyle
This idea has been suggested many times back when GR was hot. It never got off the ground. There also exist Potential but it must set free I personally feel that it doesn't contribute to the excitement of a game, simply because I don't like looking at the same buildings over and over, only arranged in a different way. Agreeing that Objects with Individuality, like Houses, aren't suitable to get used as generic Type. But some Structures even demonstrate good an architectural Concept: e.g. Hanging Bridge Mini-Maps showing Environmental Configurations. There is Use of DB as Knowledge-Base and for Generic Types I think you will already have find good Exemples for useable Generic Types, so i list only Vegetation.
