Aggressor 0 Posted May 1, 2003 Share Posted May 1, 2003 (edited) hello all, got another question for you. i have been having issues installing GR, DS and IT using the cd-rom/rw combo drive that came with the HP Pavilion. Wk stated that it might be due to the Safe Disk protection on the CD's. I plan on getting either a cd-rom or dvd-rom drive today, after i get off shift at the hospital. Which one should i get? will the dvd-rom work with installing games, especially the new ones such as SC and RvS? or is the cd-rom drive better? I'm kinda leaning towards a dvd-rom drive, if it does work with games and plus i can watch dvd's *looks around* ok i'd better run, charge nurse at 3 o'clock Edited May 1, 2003 by Aggressor Quote Link to post Share on other sites
