GP_Joltin_Joe 0
Has anyone tried GR with both a PS/2 mouse and a USB mouse? Does one give any quicker response than the other? An extra millisecond it might take to aim could be costly. Edited May 1, 2003 by GP_Joltin_Joe
Zantar45 0
I could be wrong, but in every PS2 and PC game that uses the USB mouse and keyboard setup-they usually have a sensitivity setting in the options section. ****Off Topic**** I was really contemplating buying GR for PS2 but then I bought SOCOM US Navy SEALs.It is a exteremely interactive game- fun too! It, do I dare say?would be better then GR if it only had a USB/Keyboard setting instead of the crappy controller. Sorry I got carried away but no I havent tried GR for PS2 with the mouse or have even played it. I didnt even know GR for PS2 supported the USB mouse?
Guest Jester
He's not talking about the Playstation 2, but about a PS/2 mouse -- which is the little round connector that the mouse hooks to your computer with vs. a USB mouse. I've used both, but they were both generic mice and I didn't notice any difference. Then again, I can't measure a millisecond all by myself
Urban_Tiger 0
Yes in answer to ya question of trying both! There isn't a difference lol, as Jester says, not that you'd notice with the naked eye anyway rofl!! You can adjust the sensitivity of the mouse within GR and many games anyway to address your "millisecond" issues hehehe, if things are really coming down to "milliseconds" for a kill as well then you must be bloody Speedy Gonzales too or summat hehehehe ! 300Mag 0
No difference to me, either. One thing a USB mouse does do is eat up a USB port. I use a PS/2 mouse just because of that.
