TuG - The Dam 01 [TDM / HH / S]

The guys over at TuG are busy working on a number of mods, right now:

  • Co-op Firefight
  • Co-op Missions
  • New Maps (New Terrain/Content)
  • New Team v Team Maps [Team Deathmatch / Hamburger Hill / Siege]

I'm currently working on a series of maps using the Dam landscape.

The 01 version & gametype variants will be for TDM & is inspired by the Bridge map from Americas Army.

Basically we have 2 opposing teams that spawn on either side of the Dam and will fight for control.

The map is about 80% done & just requires minor adjustments such as optimising the Spawn locations, MiniMap creation & blocking off the tunnels under the mountain, and adding some fog/haze.

The 02 version & variants will be based around the tunnel complex next to the Dam and offer CQB fun.

Looks really good. From what I have seen from ss's from the modders, we are in for some really good add-ons. Keep up the good work. :thumbsup:

P.S. If any of you guys need map testers/guinea pigs for these new maps, give me a shout on xfire. See my attached sig.

Same... i'm sure since it's MP gametypes SCE would love to beta test against another team LOL

Crazy idea. You don`t really want to know.

Can we have 1 of those alarm buttons so far up on each side? I thought of making it to there, pressing button, and calling a random motar attack on the other side. But still...

Im sure there is one inside the last tower down :unsure: stairs ?

** Update **

  • Have removed a few props from the map & set the 2 spawn locations for TDM.
  • 1
  • Have now created the minimap - see image below.
  • 1

The black outlined area is the TDM play area for version 01.

The yellow outlined area is the TDM play area for version 02 - CQB, inside the mountain & tunnels.

The blue outlined area is the most likely candidate for the smoke in Hamburger Hill mode.

I'm still trying to figure out a good spot for the Siege control point.

Woot!

Have just finished this map 100% for its v1.0 release.

Minimaps for all gametypes done, along with loading screens.

The Dam (Day) - TDM / HH / S

The Dam (Fog) - TDM / HH / S

Will be releasing this in a mappack1 along with brok21k's 'The Villa (Day & Night)' and 'City' maps.

We hope to be releasing tomorrow evening. :D
