Intercept88
Hey Guys, I'll try to do a new map for graw2. This are my first steps working with the Editor... so please be gentle to me The only way, I see at the moment to build a map restriction is to place stones or buildings around the playable parts of the map. (see picture..) Iam open for suggestions, so feel free to post your ideas here !
Lightspeed
there are heaps of objects that can b used to enclose a map - there are also dummy barriers that can be placed (invisible walls) that cant be sen ingame. looking at that image i would suggest you develop a plan b4 u start placing things - at the moment it looks like you're placing thigns just for the sake of it. another good way to close off maps is by using buildings linked by surrounding fences and walls, rubble as well, roadblocks, tireroadblocks etc etc.
GRIN_Wolfsong
Are you using the small flat test landscape, that's not really a landscape? Just curious. And like Lightspeed said, there are invisible walls you can use to plug smaller holes between props which normally won't stop the players totally, but can be good to use to give the visual representation that moving that way will be limited. Like I said, Iam no professional Yes it is the flat_ground_temp ! I'll tried to build a map without using any of the available Landscape stuff, but I can "read" from your experience, that this is not a good beginning! Well, I'll make a new start and let you know, if there any problems !

But you can use it of course. We only had it for testing props an stuff out on.
Intercept88
dummy barriers that can be placed (invisible walls)... I suppose that the dummy walls should be placed with the "invisible" side to the players view ?
Evilducky
No.. keep them so that the dummy side is facing the player. They wont show up in the game so dont worry about that.
