Cobra: Dam (Day) for coop

Playing the DAM map in co-op is great especially in hardcore but there are several issues in the map the Zues is sometimes does not spawn which makes taking out the tank impossible as the tank driver is a lunatic at the best of times. The scope on the sniper rifles jitters at the beginning of the map but seems to settle after passing the gates. The normal refles sometimes will not adjust to silgle shot you get the clicking noise but nothing else.

I do not know wether this is the correct section to be posting this I hope it is.

Also whoever put this together as a co-op map is a very sadistic person ............but we love him the design and difficulty are far better than I have seen in other maps.

There are three of us that play co-op together & if this is sample of things to come the game has a great future.

refresh my memory please..how do i get this sucker to show up in coop? :hmm:

Put the coop_dam.bundle into your {GRAW_2_DIR}\custom_levels folder

    where {GRAW_2_DIR} is the directory where you installed GRAW2

    EG: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2\custom_levels

Most clans/teams now have the bundled version up for D/L

..... *runs a quick websearch* .....

and the winner is .... Cobra CRU, they have em up for D/L here

Please note, since I placed the two bundles, dam and hacienda into my custom_level folder, i get connection failed error messages. that is really wierd. anyone else?

mine didn't. but if I start a online coop server, and place the dam and hacienda on the bottom of the list, then it will connect just fine. but if the dam and hacienda in my case are at the top of the list, then it crashes, not to desktop, nor give the GRAW2 whitebox of death but the MP service returns that an unexpected error occured. <_<

:unsure: But didn't Grin_Wolfsong already state that these maps are "Unfinished" and there for are unstable and have bugs ?

The 1st one runs fine for me, But the DAM map crash's every time on me as i get to the front gate ?

one of our other members got the files we use the zip says "snakepit" if I remember correctly.

Yes, These are the same files, just linked individually instead of both In the same zip.

This will probably be the same “campaign coop server” map timing issue problem that’s being discussed in Tech Support and GRIN should be releasing a fix soon

Yes, GRIN “ran out of time” and they weren’t finished and are entirely “use at own risk” and have several known bugs and they haven’t been optimised.

Hopefully GRIN will get the time to finish and release them properly in some future patch

The correct bundles are now in the downloads section, thanks to SatoH for bringing them to my attention.

There's an issue with posting a comment on the download area (at least in the area where my older instructions for enabling the Damn and Hacienda maps are available for download), so I was unable to add a comment to download the bundles. Feel free to remove my 'Dam/Hacienda' instruction download, as it is no longer needed and using the bundles provided by Cobra-Cru is much easier.

zues spawn is at some sandbags in the road but ull get murderd by the tank all i did was die a few times for the zues to rag doll down the hill :thumbsup:

I managed twice (out of how many tries? :whistle: ) to get the Zeus out from the sandbags and kill the tank. Lots of low-crawling and a few distractions provided by other players allowed me to get away from the sandbags and pop the tank.
