supasniper 0
i'm thinking of spending around £100-150 on a cound card and a set of speakers what i'm looking at now is: Creative Inspire 5.1 5300 Sound Blaster Audigy Player any suggestions/opinions are welcome thanks in advance
Dark Ranger 0
Can't comment on the 5.1 speaker system; I've never used that model. However, I have owned 2 SoundBlaster cards, and I love 'em. If you get the regular Audigy card, it's possible to use the A2 drivers for "better performance." I'm not sure which Audigy product you're getting, but check out the Gamer version at NewEgg.com or GoogleGear.com for some decent prices. Looks great bud.
Stinger 0
A friend of mine has those speakers and they're great. Never used the sound card though. I would also reccommend the Santa Cruz Turtle Beach sound card. Very nice and you can find it pretty cheap.
Urban_Tiger 0
That's exactly what I'm running right now lol!! SB Audigy and the 5300 Speaker system, I've had this Soundcard for 18 months and was thinking of upgrading it but I'm in no rush put it that way lol, the sound is stunning to say the least and it wouldn't be an upgrade because it actually needs it if ya know what I mean rofl ! The SB Audigy2 drivers do enhance it a little more as noted too ! You won't go wrong with that choice anyway, it does everything you'll likely need with good quality!!
