:unsure: Well it looks like a Lee-Enfield Mark III to me with a modified stock, Although there were several sub varieties. The "SMLE" and the "III" on the stock band suggest its a mark 3 as does the serial number on the chamber. There sould also be a makers date stamped on the stock band but i cant see from the pics.They were in production from 1907 to 1957. As for a value :unsure: Im sorry i have no clue, being in the UK guns , even an old one like this, are viewed as evil and if owned would make me run out and shoot people :yes::huh: Hope this helps a little.
