.. that the ENEMY uses.

Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment. I want to try various weopons in the enemy AI's hands.... How do you make the change?

You have to check out the kits in the Equip folder. Right Click it, and open it with something like Notepad and look at the .gun name, should be something like "ak47gl.gun" in the "<ItemFileName>" line in that file. Then Open Igor, click on Tools/Kit Editor and make a kit (place it in the Rifleman folder in the Origmiss/Kits/rifleman (for example anyways) with that weapon (it will display a list when you click "Browse" of all the weapons that are available in the game. Note that mods that are activated, those weapons will also be listed too. Note for this example you have to include "gp25.gun" so you can use the grenade launcher.

Thanks! :)

I looked at this info in Igor, and it helped me learn some things... appreciate it... but:

Am I missing something? I still don't know how to assign/change the weapons the ENEMY uses.

RatPatrol, depends what you want. If you just want kits changed for firefight/recon/defend type games, just copy opposing force files from orig misssion equip folder to your personl mod equip folder, right click to remove read only attribute, open with notepad and put in gun file name you want to use instead of the existing gun name. I believe opposing force kits go from 0 to 4, you can add additional ones if you want, I've used up to 7 before.

If you want to change enemy weapons in a mission, you have to open each mission in igor and individually change each actors kit ( found in lower right of screen). For kits not already made up in the equip folder of each gr level, use igor to create new ones. Again, never overwrite original files, copy to personal mod and change missions in there. Hope this helps.
