LordArokh
Hey gents, I created a simple map. This map is suppose to be a TDM map. To define spawn points, we had spawn dummy object in GRAW1. But in GRAW2, I couldn't find any spawn dummy objects. I edited WORLD.XML file to add an spawn dummy, but then GRAW2 editor stops without loading map. So can any one give me an idea how do we suppose to place dummy spawn points ? thx.
Tinker
I think we need the full editor to be able to do much more than begin to build maps at the moment. There are a lot of things disabled, or not included. Tinker
GRIN_Wolfsong
GRAW2 uses locations, not spawn dummies. There will be a tutorial covering what each of the original game modes require.

SCE_COB77
Has anyone hit the "L" key in the editor...places a Ghost pointing weapon upward. Also how do you exit the editor? Edited August 1, 2007 by SCE_COB77

GRIN_Wolfsong
Has anyone hit the "L" key in the editor...places a Ghost pointing weapon upward. Try pressing "F8" after that... not sure if you can in your version but you can try.
Lightspeed
whats the point of having the guy there? i dropped one on my map - but then i thought why - lol. does he serve a purpose?
Tinker
Apart from using him for sizing gaps and so, i think from what i picked up so far around here, you can hop into his body and use the standard game controls to move around your map in the editor. F8 It`s disabled at present i think, although i may be wrong.

Tinker
It is for me, unless i have missed something. Cmon Monday, hurry up!
GRIN_Wolfsong
That's the idea. You can run around and check where the player can move or where they can get stuck and also when creating custom landscapes and props you can test their collision and decal settings by running at them or shooting them. Really handy to be able to do it without havening to go in-game.
