This may be of interest to some. I've done competition shooting at very long ranges. 30 Caliber magnums and the like. Wind plays an obviuos factor. Variable lighting plays a factor due to the perception of depth by the shooter (Cloud goes over target, etc.) One thing that never caused my zero to change out to 1000 yards, rain. I have shot in rain quite a few time and I never noticed any appreciable change in impact from the previous day, when it was not raining.

A rise in termperatur can cause a change. One reason is due to the powder used in the ammunition. Some are more sensitive than others, but most powders generate slightly more pressure with higher temperatures
