GRAW 2 Server Status Script

Its not even a Max of 15 maps... Col.Knight a few posts up, has problem with less maps, and so do i now.

Have no idea whats causing it.. only know it started after patch 1.04, before that there were no problems at all (had all maps in rotation without any problems)..

And for the record, first started using custom maps on TvsT server yesterday, so they are not causing it...(they r part of problem, but not reason for it)

Try LGSL from http://www.greycube.com/site/download.php?list.4

Works fine, what ever maps and modes, shows players in server and also more detailed server settings.

Comes in stand alone and also phpnuke module/blocks (standalone install required nuke module)

Block and module can be seen in operation: http://www.wardogz.co.uk

The server status script works great with our coop and TDM.

But as soon as we change our TDM to the RK maps (restricted kit maps from BOTA, no M99 and GL), it stops working properly. Sometimes it'll show the map name and image, but the player info is always blank (just shows a / ).

D'oh...can't seem to figure out why. Made fresh new XML files, too.

ETA: Snaily, that's a really neat script...thanks for the info.

We couldn't get it working with our servers. We tried the feed to test it, and some ports must be blocked by our host. Later on, might try the other options Richard suggested to get it working.

Ah ha, I think I figured it out! So far, so good. The query wasn't working because it couldn't read all the data being fed to it.

If you have this prob, find this line:

$data = fgets($sock,256);

change it to:

$data = fgets($sock,512);

Then it'll read 512 bytes of data.

to get graw2 support for lgsl

open lgsl_protocol.php


find 

"arma"		  => "ArmA: Armed Assault",

add underneath

"graw2"		 => "Ghost Recon AW 2",


find 

"arma"		 => "nine",

add underneath

"graw2"		 => "nine",


find

"arma"		   => "EYE://GS://{IP}:{PORT}",

add underneath

"graw2"		   => "EYE://GS://{IP}:{PORT}",


create a folder in maps - graw2 then create another folder - graw2 with your map images inside the first folder

create a folder in icons - graw2 & put a graw2 icon in this folder - it has to be a gif image

then add your server to the lgsl_servers.txt in the format

130.888.58.888:16250:graw2:on

change 130.888.58.888 to your ip & check your server in a browser

Currently GRAW2 doesn't send that info (players on server) according to Grin it was a bug that should be in next patch fixed.

Actually it did send plaernames to gamespybrowser infobox.. GRIN then accidently removed it with patch 1.04. But they should be aware of it, and try fix it again.

Dont think anyone figured out how to extract the playernames info for the serversript this thread were started about tho.
