Need help with blackhawk

hi there

i m trying to get a us marine squad fast rope droping from a blackhawk in [GR] mode

the blackhawk is at the right position, the rope drops, the doors open

just the damn squad doesnt want to drop down

heres the part of script i have so far, maybe 1 of u guys can help me out with that 1

<element type="OrderHeli" vehicle_id="blackhawk" order="move" position="-4196 -13457 1938" speed="1.2" target="true" start_time="7"/>

<element type="SetAiGetUp" group_id="us_squad1" start_time="31"/>

<element type="SetHeliDrop" vehicle_id="blackhawk" start_time="33"/>

i m not sure if i need the SetAiGetUp, was just a try what didnt help

hi. i tried this and it worked fine. i also set the marines squad to activate via:

<element type="ActivateGroup" group_id="marines" start_time="16"/>

but i dont know if u have too do that.

I'm working exactly on the same thing. But i never set the heli to stand, it also works but you can drop people during movement... :hmm: sure!

Fine... but there is one problem, dont know if you got. If I shoot down a dropping guy the sound of attrition of rope never stops!? But just when I'm not the server! If the dropping procedure isnt break it will work fine.

Do you have the same problem?

that might be the line what was missing, thx

i gonna try that 1 out at some stage

and ratte, i had the same bug apering in the desertbase

the guys werent even going on the rope and the bug came

it stoped as soon as i toke of this line

it could be the same on the map that geminitwin is working on

the server doesnt hear it, so gemeni did u allready test it with some 1 that he will

see guys droping on the rope and he doesnt have the soundbug?

i m just asking, couse i tried around with animated doors,

everything was working really nice with sound and everything

but as soon as i tried it with a buddy of mine,

i didnt seen a door but heard the sound (he was hosting the server)

and there seem to be much more bugs like that

so allways make sure to test your map when some 1 else is hosting it ;)

no u dont need to, becouse the squad is allready spawned by the blackhawk

if u put the right name in the vihicle name box from the squad ;)
