fatray 0
Every time I try no one can see my server. What am I doing wrong? I'm using a D-Link Gaming router DGL-4300. Has a setting for game servers. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e162/fat...GRAW2/dlink.jpg [Forum Rule 3.14 -Large Images Please do not include large images directly in a post as it blows out the forum formatting and causes delays for dial-up users. Dannik 43
Are you supplying others with your external (aka router leased) IP address? GR has no server browser per se, just a list that you can use to store favourites, so unless people try to connect to the IP address of your router, they'll never get in. fatray 0
Did you not read the note on your last thread dude pic max 500x 500 not 5000 I posted both right after each other. Will post links and not photos for now on. Are you supplying others with your external (aka router leased) IP address? GR has no server browser per se, just a list that you can use to store favourites, so unless people try to connect to the IP address of your router, they'll never get in. How do I make sure this is getting done? Obviously it's not. Edited June 13, 2007 by fatray
Dannik 43
How do I make sure this is getting done? Obviously it's not. Go to WhatismyIP.com, and write down the IP address it presents. For you, it should appear as 24.35.xxx.xxx (x's for privacy's sake). Give this to your friends, and then fire up your server. Then, if they add your public IP to their list, your server should appear for them, when it's online.
Pave Low 16
a good place to start would be the thread pinned to the top of this forum, where the basics like that are covered Multiplayer FAQ's "Idiots Guide to Ghost Recon Multiplayer"
