Safari Beta. For those who aren't familiar, Safari is to the Apple Macintosh operating system as Microsoft Internet Explorer is to Windows systems. Well, Apple has decided to bring it's blazingly fast browser to XP/Vista.

Note that this is a beta application, and may have some stability issues.

from AnandTech:

Safari 3 for Windows comes with the following features:

Pop-up blocking

Tabbed browsing

SnapBack

Private browsing

Private browsing turns off caching features, allowing users to browse without worrying that Google searches and page histories are saved.

It is still beta, and rightfully so. The critical buffer issues, most of them have been discovered by people/groups who have chosen not to report them as bugs, despite the default button for doing so.

Great that the issues are being caught, but seriously, if you are a security advisor group, report the bugs. Not doing so after discovery is arrogant and pointless.

Hurrah, another non-compliant browser for web designers/developers to accomodate for!

Non compliant? It's one of the very few that passes Acid2 so far.

Everything I code seems to go spazzy in Safari, its like everything IE is to Windows, but on a Mac... and now windows as well. lol :wall:
